With a view to convert vast population into employable human resources and to meet the increasing demand of student for Computer Information and Communication Technology Education, it has been decided to establish a Computer Institute in Feni District. Est. date October 06,2003. FENI COMPUTER INSTITUTE is the country's first ever institute at the government level for expansion of ICT education. The foundation of this institution was laid by former Prime Minister BEGUM KHALEDA ZIA on Tuesday, October 06, 2003. It is specialized only for two 4-year Diploma-in-Engineering Program namely Data Telecommunication and Networking Technology (DNT) and Computer Science and Technology(CST) in which DNT is totally new in Bangladesh. Every Year students from all over the Bangladesh explode into FCI for admission because of its reputation made by only in a year. The just established FCI got Accreditation Certificate from APACC. Under National Technical & Vocational Qualification Framework(NTVQF) running two Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBT&A) program namely Web Design NTVQF Level 2(650 hrs ) and IT Support NTVQF Level 1(360 hrs) this institute.
